Creating an Online Giving Page
New Giving Pages may be created by navigating to Online Giving and clicking +Add Giving Page at the top right of the page.
Settings for the giving page are divided into different segments for ease of access and editing:
⭐ Basics
The Basics are the foundation of the giving page, Here you may set the Name of the form, what type of gifts are being accepted through the giving page, branding elements (color, logo, and featured image), and set the main message for the page. This message is what your donors will see when they visit your online giving landing page. In addition to Text, you may also insert Images and embed video links using the Picture 🖼️and Film🎞️Icons.
⭐ Choose Amounts
The Choose Amounts section relates to the donation options for the page. Here you may set the goal for the page, elect whether the donor can see that goal and progress towards the goal, set if Donor's will cover fees by default, as well as set donation options in relation to frequencies available and custom and preset donation amounts.
⭐ Collect Information
The Collect Information settings allow you to set what type of information you collect from the Donor, in regards to allowing tribute gifts, anonymous donations, or receiving donor comments on gifts.
⭐ Success Settings
Under Success Settings, you may customize the experience of the donor after their gift has been completed. Upon successful gift, you may create and customize a message to be displayed on the giving page or redirect the donor to an URL of your choice. You may also customize the template for the thank you/receipt email the donor will receive, as well as the team member who will show as sending the thank you/receipt email.
⭐ Tracking
From the Tracking section, you may set different tracking sections to apply to gifts that are received through the giving page. Here you may set the Campaign, Appeal, Funds, Gift Tags, Badges, and Marketing Lists.
⭐ Text-to-Donate
Text-to-donate is one way to make donating to your organization easier. This feature allows your donors to text you a keyword, and receive a custom automatic response text message from you, with a link to a donate page. This keyword may be used at events, shared via email, or mail communications to make it as easy as possible to donate to your organization.
Once you have completed all the fields on the Giving Page setup you wish, click Save at the top of the Giving Page. Once you have saved the page, a preview of the page will appear on the right. You may continue to making changes and tweaks if necessary.
Once you are satisfied with the preview of the giving page, you may Publish the page in the top right.
Once published, the Sharing options for the page will appear on the left. You may also set the giving page as your default giving page if needed.
