What is a Marketing List?
Marketing Lists are a specific list of people that you want to communicate with for a particular reason. Contacts can be in multiple marketing lists at once.
Marketing Lists are static. Contacts may be listed on a contact until they are manually removed. This is different than reports, where contacts are automatically added or removed from a report, depending on if the contact fits the filtering criteria at the moment the report is opened.
Marketing Lists may also be used with DonorDock Signup Forms. When responding to a Signup form for general information, users may select areas of interest that correspond with marketing lists and will be added to the marketing list upon submittal of their signup form response.
