Phone Calls

Phone calls can be an effective communication and marketing channel between your organization and donors, to create personal impact among your donors who believe in your mission as much as we do.

Tracking these phone calls in DonorDock can be done quickly and simply through the "Phone Call" activity.

Fields to select when creating a Phone Call Activity:

  • Contact. The contact that the phone call was with.

  • By. The By user will default to you as the one creating the activity. If you were not the user who spoke to the contact, you may select a different user

  • Subject. The subject of the phone call.

  • Due Date. The date that the phone call occurred, or if you are scheduling a phone call for in the future, the date you want to complete the phone call.

  • Priority. The ranked priority of the activity: Low, Medium, or High.

  • Status. The status of the Activity. Has the phone call already been completed, is it incomplete, or cancelled. If status complete, box will appear for Completion Note.

  • Completion Note. Any notes you wish to enter about the phone call (outside of the call script or notes) as to the completion of the activity.

  • Call Scripts or Notes. Notes and information relating to the phone call.

  • Campaign. Campaign (if any) the phone call activity is associated with.

  • Appeal. Appeal (if any) the phone call activity is associated with.

Phone call activities can be created manually by adding an activity, added in bulk through reports, or may be imported through the import tool.
