Throughout DonorDock’s history, we have never raised a customer’s price or charged platform fees for our online giving platform. This is something we're especially proud of.
To allow us to continue to do this, we have developed a new feature, DonorDock TipBack, which provides your donors with the opportunity to extend their generosity by providing a tip to DonorDock when completing an online donation.
TipBack is completely optional for the donor, while allowing us to continue to innovate and improve our product while keeping DonorDock affordable for all organizations.

That's right! We want to use this feature to give back to your organization!
🙋♀️ How does this work? 🙋♂️
With the Tips feature enabled, when a donor chooses to give a tip to DonorDock, we will reimburse you for your Stripe processing fees* (up to the amount of the tip).
Even if the donor selects to cover your processing fees, we will STILL reimburse you out of any tip they provide to DonorDock, helping to ensure you are receiving more from that donation.
🙋♂️ What do I need to do to receive the reimbursement of the processing fees? 🙋♀️
Nothing at all! You will see a separate, immediate transaction in Stripe from DonorDock covering the transaction fees after a donation of a gift that included a DonorDock TipBack*.
We are particularly excited about adding this new feature, and our ability to use it to better serve our customers and give back to you in a meaningful way!
Existing Paid CRM subscriptions will have the option to disable TipBack under their Online Giving Global Configuration settings. Before doing so though, we ask that you reflect on the beneficial impact it can have on our ability to continue to serve you, and the positive effect it can have on your fundraising by enabling you to offset your Stripe processing fees.
