Classy + DonorDock Integration
Classy is a software company and online fundraising platform designed for nonprofit organizations. Classy allows nonprofits to create and manage fundraising campaigns, including donation pages, peer-to-peer fundraising, crowdfunding, and event ticketing.
Setting up an integration with Classy has two main parts
Copy three ID numbers from Classy
Client ID
Client Secret ID
Organization (Tenant) ID
Paste the ID numbers into DonorDock
Obtain ID Numbers from Classy
Login to your Classy account.
Navigate to the Apps and Extensions page on the right menu.
Click on Classy API button
Create a new App called DonorDock
For the Auth redirect, simply enter:
https://donordock.com
Click Create App. Once you complete this step, you'll receive your API Credentials for DonorDock.
Click on the Edit link in the Your Applications table
Copy the Client ID and Client Secret (or keep this screen open)
Copy the Classy Tenant ID. This may be found by looking at the URL address bar when signed in to your Classy account.Β It will look something like this: https://www.classy.org/admin/12345/activity
Paste your ID Numbers into DonorDock
Log in to your DonorDock account and navigate to Integrations (Settings menu > Integrations)
Once on the Integrations page, you will see the Classy app listed in the Apps section.Β
Click the Connect button.
In the App Setup screen, enter your Classy Tenant ID from Step 8 into the Tenant ID field. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret from step 7.
Ensure the toggle is turned on to Enable the integration
Click to indicate whether you would like to sync event attendees
Note: Due to limitations in data from Classy, this may end up creating some duplicate contacts, depending on how the data is structured. You can use the Duplicate Merging Tools to help with this.
Click to Save the integration. Once saved, you may click the Test Connection button to test the connection has been successful.

Once turned on, the Classy integration will sync every hour at 5 minutes after the hour.
