DonorDock to Avid Integration

The DonorDock and Avid integration allows you to sync donor data into Avid for analysis, segmentation, and reporting. Once connected, Avid will automatically pull data from DonorDock on a recurring schedule, helping your team better understand and engage your supporters.

Avid is a read-only integration, meaning it pulls data from DonorDock but does not modify your records.

What Avid Syncs from DonorDock

Once connected, Avid will automatically sync the following data:

Full Navigation Steps

Step 1: Create API Credentials in DonorDock
  1. Log in to your DonorDock account

  2. Open the Settings Menu (grid icon top right)

  3. Select Integrations

  4. Locate the Avid integration tile

  5. Click Connect

  6. Under Settings, click Create API Key

    DonorDock will generate:

    • Tenant ID

    • API Key

    • API Secret

    Copy and store all three values

Step 2: Add DonorDock API keys in Avid
  1. Log in to your Avid account

  2. Navigate to Connections

  3. Click Add Connection

  4. Select DonorDock from the list

  5. Enter the credentials from DonorDock

  6. Click Connect

What Happens After You Connect

After a successful connection:

  • Avid begins an initial full data sync

  • This process may take several hours, depending on database size

  • After the initial sync, only new and updated records are synced

  • Data becomes available in Avid Insights and Audiences
