Gift Tags Overview
What are Gift Tags?
Gift tags identifiers are tied to a gift record to characterize and segment the gift based on characteristics that are not covered by Campaign, Appeal, Fund, and Tracking Code functionality. Gift tags are a long-term tag that are stored on a gift record indefinitely.
Like Badges are for contact records, Gift tags are a simple yet versatile way for you to be able to identify and sort your gifts to meet your organization's needs.
Examples of Gift Tags that may be used for: Major Gift, Matching Gift, Silent Auction Gift, etc.
