Payment Options accepted with Stripe

Donors placing donations through giving pages connected with Stripe, will have payment options to pay via Credit Card, ACH, Cash App, Google Pay, or Apply Pay if available for their device and the donor's location. These payment options will appear on the final (3rd) page of the giving page process after the donor has entered in their billing information.

The option to pay by Credit Card will appear as the first choice, followed by additional payment options:

Depending on location ACH options may be limited based on Stripe payment restrictions per country. When ACH is not available, the ACH button will not be displayed as a payment option.

For donors using Cash App on a mobile device, when the Cash App payment option is selected, the Cash App application will automatically open. When donating on a computer, a QR code will be displayed that may be scanned by the Cash App application after clicking to pay.

On supported devices, Google Pay will appear as a payment option. When Google Pay is not available, the Google Pay button will not be displayed a payment option.

On supported devices, Apple Pay will be shown as an available payment option. When Apple Pay is not available, the Apple Pay button will not be displayed as a payment option.

Apple Pay will display on devices when the following requirements are met:

  • Safari on Mac running macOS Sierra or later.

    • A compatible device with a card in Apple Wallet paired to Mac with Handoff, or a Mac with TouchID.

  • Mobile Safari on iOS 10.1 or later.

    • A card in Apple Wallet

  • As of iOS 16, Apple Pay might work in some non-Safari mobile browsers with a card saved in Apple Wallet.

Regarding Embedded Giving Pages, Apple Pay will not display when an embedded DonorDock giving page is used, regardless of device.

The giving page must be loaded directly; iframes hosted on different domains do not support Apple Pay use. In this scenario, the button to use Apple Pay is not shown as an available option
