Pledges Overview 💫

This article explains how to use Pledges in DonorDock.

Pledges can be found under the transactions in the menu.

Helpful Definitions for Pledges:

• Pledges: In DonorDock, a pledge is a commitment to give a certain amount to your organization. Pledges can be paid manually via checks over time, or via a regularly scheduled online donation towards a stated goal.

• Pledged Gifts: a pledged gift is a gift given to fulfill a pledge. A pledge can include multiple pledged gifts.

  • Pledge Installments: pledge installments are a special type of pledged gift, that can be created when a pledge is created that creates a due date for the pledged gift and pledged amount.
