POINT Integration with DonorDock

The DonorDock + POINT integration helps you keep volunteer and donor information in one place. When connected, your POINT contacts and volunteer hours flow into DonorDock once a day. You can also add a DonorDock “Donate” button to your POINT page to give volunteers an easy way to support your organization.

What the Integration Does

The integration provides two key features:

Sends Volunteer Data to DonorDock

POINT sends volunteer information directly into your DonorDock account, including:

• Contact details: first name, last name, email address, and ZIP code

• Volunteer hours: total hours appear under Lifetime Volunteer Hours, with each entry listed individually in Activities

• Activity information: program and event names appear in the Completion Information section of each Activity record

POINT updates matching contacts based on the following priority:

1. Email + first name + last name + ZIP

2. Email + first name + last name

3. Email only

4. If no email is available, first name + last name + ZIP

If a match is found, the existing record is updated. If not, a new contact is created.

Adds a DonorDock “Donate” Button to POINT

You can display a Donate button on your POINT page that links directly to one of your DonorDock Online Giving forms. Volunteers who click the button are taken straight to your chosen giving page.
