New features & improvements

A New Way to Work with Views 🥳

We've refreshed the layout of list pages throughout DonorDock, including Contacts, Gifts, Campaigns, and other table views, making it easier to find what you need and save the views you use most.

What's new:

• The search bar has moved to the upper right for a cleaner layout

• The current view is now displayed next to a new View icon, making it easy to see which view you're using

• Click the View dropdown to quickly switch between available views

• Use the Filters button to build custom filtered views

• Save your filtered results as a private view or share them with your team

• Export your current filtered view to CSV using the download button

• Continue customizing visible columns using the Columns button on the right

Additional Updates

• The Public API now supports creating and updating custom field values for Contacts, Gifts, and Activities. A new endpoint has also been added to retrieve custom field definitions.

• The QuickBooks Online integration now supports flexible field mapping, allowing DonorDock entities to be mapped to Class, Department, Product/Service, or custom fields. Processing fees can also be recorded on a separate sales receipt instead of as a line item.

• Campaigns, Funds, and Appeals can now be imported directly from spreadsheets, complete with field mapping, row validation, and error reporting.

• Activity imports for Projects now support Project Board and Project Stage columns.

• Form Response automations can now merge signup form responses directly into emails, text messages, letters, and tasks.

• Giving pages can now be updated while disabled, and disabled pages now display a clear Disabled status throughout DonorDock.

• Long message rows on the Signup Forms page are now truncated for a cleaner, more readable list.

• Backups now include signup forms and signup form responses.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed rare scenarios where large activity imports could fail or remain in a pending state

• Updated the Public API to return proper error responses when gift creation fails

• Fixed display and scrolling issues in the automation merge tag selector

• Resolved rare cases where Microsoft Word templates could no longer be downloaded

• Fixed an intermittent error when deleting marketing lists

• Fixed an issue where field labels could appear clipped in dialog windows

• Updated Online Giving so selecting an annual membership correctly updates the terminology shown in the donation amount section
