Otto's Logbook: Release Notes 2.8.2026

As we continue to build tools that help your team stay organized and move work forward with clarity, we’re excited to share this latest DonorDock release. These updates introduce a brand new way to manage project work, along with several fixes and improvements to keep your workflows running smoothly.

Whether you’re coordinating campaigns, planning events, or managing internal projects, these improvements are designed to reduce friction and keep your crew sailing in sync.

Project Boards are here!🎊

We’re excited to introduce the Projects Board, a new Kanban-style board designed to help your team organize and track tasks across projects and initiatives.

The Projects Board joins the Action Board and Ask Boards to give you a complete system for managing daily work, fundraising pipelines, and project execution in one place.

What you can do with the Projects Board:
  • Organize tasks into custom lanes that match how your team works

  • Track progress across campaigns, events, content planning, and internal projects

  • Keep tasks visible at both the project level and on each team member’s Action Board

  • Create multiple boards for different workflows and teams

This new board makes it easier to see how individual tasks connect to bigger goals and helps your team stay aligned from planning through completion.

🚢 Hull Repairs and Bug Fixes

We also shipped a wide range of fixes and behind-the-scenes improvements

  • Fixed an issue where large bulk marketing list requests were timing out and failing to complete

  • Fixed an issue where date filters on automations were not available on steps based on the trigger date

  • Updated giving pages so DAFpay does not appear as an option when a page is set for event tickets or memberships gifts

  • Added an auto-update feature for addressees and salutations when contact name details are changed

  • Fixed InKind contribution statements so emailed statements do not default to standard contribution statement columns
