Transitioning Recurring Donors to DonorDock

Once you've transitioned to DonorDock Online Giving, your organization may have past recurring donors and donations that you would like to move so the gift records are created seamlessly in DonorDock at the time of the recurring subscription.

If your organization has recurring donations that are already processed through Stripe, after your organization's DonorDock Online Giving has been connected with Stripe Connect, you may log into Stripe and adjust existing subscriptions to DonorDock products, without needing to have your Donor cancel and redo their recurring subscription. This manual process cannot yet be automated and will be done for each subscription that needs to be moved over.

If the donations do not exist in Stripe as subscriptions, the current subscription would need to be canceled, and the donor will re-establish their subscription through a DonorDock Online Giving Page. We offer the email template below to assist with migrating your Donors to DonorDock.
