Updating your Organization Ask Stages

In DonorDock, each Ask is assigned a stage to reflect its current status. If your organization uses the AskBoard feature (included in Essentials and Professional subscriptions), lanes will be displayed for each Ask Stage. The default stages are:

• Identify (20%)

• Qualify (30%)

• Cultivate (50%)

• Solicit (70%)

• Close (100%)

These percentages represent the progression of your relationship with the contact, indicating the probability of a successful ask. This setup helps your team quickly see where each contact is and gauge how close they are to securing a donation or commitment.

If desired, your organization’s Ask Stages can be customized differently than the five default stages.

To view your Organization's current Ask Stages

1. Log into your DonorDock account as an Administrator

2. Click on the Settings Menu (grid icon top right of DonorDock) and select to view (Organization) Settings

3. Once on the Organization Settings page, scroll down on the right to Ask Stages

To add a new Ask Stage

1. Click on the search box for Ask Stages

2. Type in the name for the new Stage

3. Click Create

4. Set the Probability for the new stage

5. Click Save Ask Stage

To edit the lane position of an Ask

1. Click the pen icon to the right of an Ask Stage on the Settings page

2. In the box that pops up, edit the Stage Order number accordingly
