Volunteers
There are different types of contributions a donor may provide to your organization and volunteering plays an essential role in any non-profit. With the Volunteer activity, DonorDock allows you to track volunteer hours with ease and efficiency.
Fields to select when creating a Volunteer Activity:
Contact. The contact who completed the volunteer activity.
Assigned to. The user who is assigned the activity. This will default to the user who created the volunteer activity in DonorDock, but may be updated to another user as needed.
Description of Service. Description of the volunteer service donated by the contact.
Volunteer Date. The date the contact volunteered.
Priority. The ranked priority of the activity: Low, Medium, or High.
Status. The status of the Activity. Have the volunteer hours already been completed, are they incomplete, or cancelled. If status complete, box will appear for Completion Note.
Completion Note. Any notes you wish to enter about the Volunteer activity (outside of the Notes) as to the completion of the activity.
Notes. Notes and information relating to the Volunteer activity.
Campaign. Campaign (if any) the Volunteer activity is associated with.
Appeal. Appeal (if any) the Volunteer activity is associated with.
Volunteer activities may be created manually by adding an activity, added in bulk through reports if there were more than one volunteer at an event, or may be imported through the import tool.
